Hard in the Paint: Visual art, creations to be proud of.

Event Description: M. Curry Designs Gallery is proud to present a truly unique art exhibition. In " Hard in the Paint: Visual art creations to be proud of," artists have the rare opportunity to select and showcase their most proud creations. Traditionally, themes are set by galleries or curators, but in this exhibition, we grant artists the freedom to display what they consider to be their best work. As the exhibition runs during the beginning of the Summer, it's the perfect opportunity for art enthusiasts to find exceptional, one-of-a-kind gifts.

Exhibit info: We have 4 print racks and space for vending so artists will be encouraged to bring prints and if desired any other vending merchandise. We would ask that all artists attend at some point during the event to connect with the patrons. We also have a new supportive artist, Rebecca, who will be assisting us in having regular weekly open hours as well so we will continue the exhibit and promote throughout the month to run during the Downtown Art Walk, June 26th  the 4th Friday of each month,  until art pick up date,  June 29th and 30th from 12-3pm

Theme: Artists are invited to submit what they consider their best artwork, allowing for a diverse and captivating display.

Fees:

Entry Fee: A $20 non-refundable entry fee is applicable for each submission. 

Commission Fee: A 20% commission fee on the sale of each artwork will be retained by the gallery.

Eligibility: This call for art is open to all artists who can personally deliver their artwork to M. Curry Designs Gallery, situated in the heart of Downtown Seattle, WA.

Submission Requirements:

• Artwork must be on canvas or similar with hanging hardware, suitable for display on our hanging system with cords and hooks.

• Artwork should not exceed 4 feet in height or 4 feet in width.

• You may submit 2 pieces per submission.

Key Dates:

• Deadline for sign-up: May 17th end of day

• Artwork IN PERSON Drop-off: May 25th and 26th

• Showing Dates: June 8th and 9th from 12-7pm

• Pick up date: June 29th and 30th from 12-3pm

How to Submit Artworks:

To submit your artwork for "Artist's Choice: The Finest Creations," please follow these steps:

1. Fill out the submission form below.

2. Upload high-quality photos of your artwork.

3. Pay the $20 submission entry fee.

4. We will send out a reminder for art drop off.
